SWIDA is pleased to announce that construction of the 62 unit affordable housing development, Metro Landing of Swansea, located at the MetroLink grounds in the Village of Swansea was initiated by Altman Charter Company in December of 2017. The development is sponsored by SWIDA and partner, Bywater Development Group, and would not be possible without the support of the Illinois Housing Development Authority, PNC Bank, St. Clair County Intergovernmental Grants, Ameren IL, the Village of Swansea and Bi-State Development. Construction completion and welcoming of new residents is anticipated the first quarter of 2019.
